WHO WE ARE
Our Why
Our mission at Sueñitos is to give children the fresh start and a clean slate they deserve to live productive and fulfilling lives. We will do this by establishing a children’s center for youth at risk of falling into the perils of street life. Our hope is that through creative outreach and strategic partnerships, we will spark a passion amongst these children who, with guidance and support, will choose a better path for themselves in the future.
We are currently focused on communities in Lima, Peru and Dallas, USA.
STOPPING THE CYCLE
Poverty tends to be cyclical, and many kids who are born to impoverished parents will experience the same struggles when they become adults. Our goal is to reach children before they are stuck in that cycle of poverty and prevent life on the street through intervention and in-depth supportive care for each child. We think early intervention is key and believe that with proper assistance and guidance, these children will be better able to focus on their goals and dreams for the future.
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Arthur Santa-Maria
Sueñitos founder Arthur Santa-Maria has a passion for making a positive impact on communities where it’s needed most. He works in Dallas, USA in real estate and investments, and he is very active member of his community. Arthur has personally benefited from having positive influencers in his life which drove him to want to better himself, an experience he hopes to instill in children who are otherwise being left behind. Helping these children find and realize their dream is Arthur’s own sueñito.
